Entertainment & Activities
The hotel offers daily live entertainment every evening in the No. 10 bar and a singer during dinner in the restaurant. Guests have access to bingo, billiards, a games room, and live sport events. A heritage tour led by the hotel's heritage ambassador provides access to recently rediscovered Turkish baths and the room where Winston Churchill sat.

The Palm Court Restaurant provides a buffet breakfast with sea views and a dinner menu that includes options like shoulder of lamb and smoked mackerel. A separate bar menu offers items such as BLTs, pizza, and sandwiches until 10 pm. Kids under 5 eat free from the children's menu, and special diet menus are available on request.
History & Heritage
The Imperial Hotel opened in 1867 and has hosted every 20th-century British prime minister, including Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher. The building is Grade II listed and retains original mahogany panelling, high ceilings, and two glass ceilings in the cocktail bar. A recently discovered secret tunnel may have connected the hotel to the Winter Gardens.

the breakfast was buffet style and had everything i could possibly want.
The hotel itself is a little tired. there was tape covering rips in the carpet as i walked in, and some light fixtures were broken. the sunday lunch was disappointing. I only ate the main course. there were flies on the salad and desserts so i skipped those altogether.
